STAGEPAK units on show at this year’s Queensland Education Resources Expo.

The STAGEPAK system of interlocking units allows one to erect a number of very useful structures required in many areas of a school. Units can be configured into choir risers, steps, display structures, story pits, raised platforms etc. for use in music rooms, library resource areas, science rooms, junior teaching areas and performing arts halls. The versatility of the STAGEPAK system is unmatched because individual units can be flat packed for ease of storage and / or transport to an off site venue. Once assembled, units can then be linked like giant building blocks to create terraced structures.

Mike Rooney, Director of Ideal Plastic Concepts, will have a display of STAGEPAK units on show at this year’s Queensland Education Expo. As an ex teacher / administrator, he will understand your needs and be able to offer advice on how to get the best use from the product. Mike offers a free design / consultancy service and may even be able to accompany your order to assist you with your initial set up so that you understand all there is to know about assembling units and structures.

STAGEPAK has been wholly and proudly designed and manufactured in Australia and is distributed by Ideal Plastic Concepts. For more information, you can visit the web site at www.idealplasticconcepts.com.au or phone 1300 792 679.

Feelings can be messy.... Kimochis® can help!

Kimochis...Toys with Feelings Inside® are award-winning educational toys designed to help children learn about, understand and manage their feelings, giving school aged children a voice and the ability to express themselves. Helping children develop a ‘feelings vocabulary’ and emotional literacy, Kimochis® provide ‘teachable moments’ around emotions, conflict resolution and social interaction, through the seven keys to communication and the BIG 5 interventions. With sections on early childhood, primary and Special Edu, it’s the practical ideas on creating a Kimochis® classroom of empathy, tolerance, independence and perseverance that supports teachers working for compassionate, respectful, responsible and resilient children. The curriculum provides a step by step guide to learning about ‘feeling-driven’ behaviours leading to better and safer behavioural choices and better educational outcomes for children, teachers, parents and the full school community.
